Katie Cheadle grew up in San Diego playing travel ball for the Batbusters and So Cal Athletics, before beginning her collegiate career at the University of Georgia. Katie played one year at UGA before transferring to UC Berkeley, where she played for the next three years of her eligibility. As a high school athlete, Katie became very interested in the mental game of sports and read every book she could get her hands on. This passion for psychology, mindset training, mindfulness, and performance became the foundation for the work she does today.
After completing her softball career at Cal, Katie began a new career as a Director of Human Resources in the Bay Area. During this time, she realized her deep desire to coach and help others. She also started to notice that the same pressures and stress that exist in competitive sports were very prevalent in the business landscape as well. After working in this space for almost seven years, she decided that she wanted to go back to school to become a therapist. Katie completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Mindfulness and is currently working in Private Practice in both Long Beach and Palos Verdes. Katie leads corporate trainings, retreats, and workshops, while specializing in working with athletes, businesses, and teams.
